Please recommend: organic veg / fruit box delivery Post Reply

Can anyone recommend a organic veg / fruit box delivery service? I live in SW19 and am looking for a delivery service offering:
- seasonal weekly variety (not the same 10 items every week!)
- ability to swap a few items (I don't want carrots every week)
I currently order a large mixed box through Ocado. The quality and variety is really great, but I'd like the ability to swap items from time to time.

What about Abel&Cole? Something different every week and great quality. I'm not sure if you can actually pick and choose what goes in the box though...

Try absolute organic in raynes park... A friend of mine use to use them when she was in the area... I was impressed!

Try Riverford, they are really good. They have farms in Devon and France and terrific stuff, vegetables, cheese, meat, drink etc. They have just piloted whole meals where they send a box with three recipes and all the ingredients ready and weighed out etc, all you have to do is cook it. And they are owned by a genuine award winning farmer, Guy Watson and have not sold out to a large conglomerate!

Another vote for Riverford from me. The quality of the fruit and veg is fantastic. You can change your order online up to 2 days before delivery and you can look to see what the contents of the box will be and make up your own box if need be. They have lots of different boxes to choose from as well.
