First shoes - recommendations on where to go

Postby Nicnak » Thu Mar 20, 2014 8:24 am

So my little munchkin is approaching one and so now it's time for her first pair of shoes. Anyone have any recommendations on where to go in Teddington/ Kingston/ Richmond area to get her sized up and knows what their talking about?

Thanks v much

Hi in Teddington I think the staff in Johnson's shoes are better than One Small Step where they seemed distinctly disinterested to me but it's stock can be limited. I think the Clarks shop in Kingston is very good and has a big range and John Lewis too. Clarks do a service where if you see a pair you like online you can order into store for free so they can check fit etc which I have used a few times rather than shell out for a pair of shoes I don't particularly like just because that's all they have in stock.

Top floor of Bentalls has some lovely ones. Enjoy and make sure to get some photos :) My mum still has my first pair of red startrites!

Thanks for the suggestions - much appreciated

I went to the top floor of Bentalls - the lady serving was wonderful - even took a few pictures for us. The little munchkin looks like such a big girl in her new shoes
