Anyone know of good value handymen for simple jobs??

Postby EmilyBea » Wed Oct 20, 2010 9:34 am

Hi there,
I'm in need of a helping hand to put up some curtain poles etc...things that if left to my other half will never get done, but that I don't want to pay the earth to have done! Anyone know of any good local handymen that don't charge masses? Thanks so much xx

Hi,

We use Toby Lyde he is on 07774138209. I got his details from here and have used him for over a year at my work ... Would highly recommend him and the rates are great …

Good Luck

Would definitely recommend Russell Hanson - his company is Russell Hanson - The London Handyman http://www.russellhanson.co.uk. He seems to be able to do most types of work - very quickly and to a good standard. No hesitation in recommending him.

I'd like to second the reccomendation of Russell Hanson above. I found his details on this thread and just used him for a very quick job in my house and he was great. On time, tidy and reasonably priced. I will definitely use him again in the future so thank you very much for the tip!

I have a great guy who is always in the area, very flexible and very cheap! Called Alex 07879 000718. He has put in a sink for me, baby gate, hung clocks, pictures, built flat packs...the lot!
