We are an Italian-American family living between the commons and are seeking a live-in or live-out nanny from end of August/September. We have two children, a boy age 5 and a girl 2 ½. Our son will be starting year 1 in the fall and our daughter will be starting nursery 5 mornings a week. We need a nanny to assist with school drop-offs and pick-ups, normal children related nanny duties (children’s laundry, meals etc), assistance with afternoon homework, and transporting the children to any activities afterschool/during term breaks. As the kids are mainly in school, we also need help with normal household tidiness, some household admin, weekly grocery shopping, meal-planning and cooking healthy family dinners. We need someone who can be flexible in their schedule and work earlier hours, if one of the parents is on business travel, etc… We also may need the occasional evening babysitting. Most of all, we want to find someone that fits the chemistry of our family, no matter their nationality or language, who is easy –going, yet hard-working, flexible and fun. We are a cheerful and happy family – and want a nanny who brings the same approach to their work behavior and how they respectfully look after our kids.
