Which Lettings/management agent to use in Earlsfield... Post Reply

Hi there,

I am about to rent out a 3 bed flat in Earlsfield but am unsure which agent/full management company to go with.

I will be doing full management and I have experienced some very shoddy work in the past (not in Earlsfield). I would really appreciate a recommendation if anyone has their property fully managed.

I've been letting a flat out in Earlsfield for a couple of years through Cound, and they are excellent. We use their full service, and they really do take care of everything. We are about to be on our third set of tenants and we haven't had a single day of gap between tenants yet.

I would say with absolute confidence, none of them. We have let our flat out in Clapham for years with various agents and managed ourselves and found them to offer very little other than be expensive and obstructive. This year we used Upad.com, an online service where you pay aprox £100 to advertise your property (it goes on all the big ones rightmove etc) you get email alerts direct when you have an interested applicant and when you decide on one they do a full referencing service. It's so easy and now we manage as we did before and have saved ourselves 1000s £ in fees.
