Nanny wanted to start in July - Furzedown

Postby Pop » Wed Jun 11, 2014 2:06 pm

We’re looking for a nanny to look after our two children, starting in July, and based in Furzedown (SW16 – just south of Tooting Bec Common).
We have a nearly 4 year old girl (who will be at nursery for part of the day) and an 8 month old boy.

Ideally we would prefer a live out nanny, although we would consider live in for the right candidate.

The position is for 4 days a week, 11 hours a day.

We are looking for someone who has lots of energy, is organised and is happy to get out and about to the park and on other outings. We'd like our nanny to be proactive with our children - to really engage in making up and playing games with them, and helping them learn.

Experience as a nanny or within a nursery setting is essential, as is excellent English. Excellent, recent references are also required.

We are looking for an Ofsted registered nanny, or someone willing to become Ofsted registered. Someone who can drive would be preferable, though that isn’t essential (provided you are willing to take the children on public transport). We will only consider non-smokers for the position.

If you’re interested in the role, please send a copy of your CV and contact details to nannysearch.sw16@gmail.com

Thanks
Eleanor

Dear family,
I would love to be a nanny for your children. I really like your offer. I live in Battersea (Clapham Junction) where I am the nanny for two little girls (2 and 4 years old). When I started looking after them they were 1 and 3 years old. They are getting bigger and they both go to school from this September. So, their parents do not need the nanny for them as much as before especially that their mum does not work. They have also been thinking of moving out to the countryside. And, I need to have a full time job so we both decided that my contract with them will finish in mid July (the 12th July) when Alice (the older one) finishes school.

I have 5 years experience in childcare (children between 6 months and 6 years).
Children are part of my life and I just love them. I always make friends with children. I treat them seriously and respect them. I am happy when I see I make them laugh. I am very friendly, warm, caring and looking after children, spending time with them is just pleasure for me. I am creative, highly energetic with strong communication skills. I am also a hard-working, responsible, patient, cheerful, flexible and very easy going person.
I am a non-smoker I have a Paediatric First Aid Certificate and good references and I am CRB checked.
It will be the pleasure to look after your children.
Best regards, Bela.

Hi Eleanor, my name is Holly and I live off Streatham Road near Furzedown ! My eleven year old daughter attends Furzedown primary school and starts at Graveney in September.I have worked as a professional nanny for over twenty years in Tooting,Streatham and Furzedown so am very familiar with local playgroups, the rec and the triangle etc.! I also know many mums, nannies and childminders locally .(our paths may even have crossed!) and enjoy play dates etc . I am energetic and fun, kind and reliable and fully committed to the development and safety of all children in my care. I am CRB checked, Ofsted registered and have outstanding references. I am looking for a local nanny position as my current family are leaving London on 20th this month. Do give me a call if this could work and I could drop my paperwork up to you. Many thanks,Holly.07967432121

Hello!
I'm sorry to email you out of the blue but I've just spotted your post re. nanny. I'm looking for someone to collect my daughter from Broomwood (Garrads road) and look after her after school, just two days a week and term times only and I was just wondering if you'd be interested potentially in some sort of nanny share. Complete long-shot but am exploring all options at the moment, such a juggling act everything!
Enjoy the weekend
Kmg
