Can anyone recommend really good restaurants in SW11? We have been going to Numero UNO for some years but we need a change. Chez Bruce is great for a special occasion. But now we want to try to explore and have new experiences.

Rosita, Donna Margherita, Ichnusa are my favourites. The Bolingbroke is also always nice.

My husband and I tried the new French restaurant on Battersea Rise called Sinabro. All I can say it is amazing and it gives Chez Bruce a run for it's money. It is small and a small menu as they are just staring out but amazing value. £29 for 3 amazing courses.

The husband is the chef and been head chef at a number of Michelin started restaurants in both France and London. Wife KoreN and does front of house/waitressing/wine etc. Sous chef who also helps serve. Their story is lovely. No loans available so saved for years to create their dream, painted and did lots of work themselves. Father in law made tables.

I loved it. And will be going back as soon as I can.

Still absolutely love Osteria Antica Bologna on Northcote after 20 or more years of going there. The Bellevue Rendezvous around the corner from Bellevue Road is a gem - genuine French and another one to give Chez B a run for its money. Can't wait to try Sinabro!

I should add that London House on Battersea Square is SERIOUSLY good. I'd been put off by Grace Dent's silly review (I think she is obsessed with living in E London and has a real chip on her shoulder about W and SW London), but it is excellent in every way. An easy walk from Northcote Road, so do try it.

The menu will be changing monthly making the most of British seasonal produce, showcasing the best of what the British Isles has to offer. I second the great review on Sinabro. I just went tonight with my husband and absolutely loved the food. Beautiful presentation and delicious. And they now do a lunch menu (main and coffee) for under 10£. I am going back very soon!

I wanted to add to the votes for Sinabro. We went there on Sunday and the food and service was fantastic - Sujin (the manager) is really lovely. It's the kind of place you really want to succeed.

Trinity and Osteria Antica Bologna are hands down my favourites in the area. I also rate Rosita and Tsunami. The Bolingbroke does reliably decent food.

Other places I've heard good things about but not tried yet:

I went to Pho last Sunday. It was really buzzing on an early Sunday evening. Really tasty food and very attentive customer service. You can either eat a quick meal and be off, or they were happy for us to stay and chat after finishing and didn't rush us out.

Looking forward to trying Sinabro and Wagu. Thanks for the ideas.
