UPVC doors and an Electrician

Postby Oneofeach » Mon Jun 30, 2014 3:22 pm

We need to replace our south facing wooden Juliette balcony doors and have been advised to use UPVC. Can anyone recommend someone or a company who might be able to help ? The one lead I have doesn't seem to want to return my call.

Also, I'd love any recommendations for an Electrician who could add some halogen lights to a bedroom.

A big thank you in anticipation !

Do you really need to replace them? We thought we were going to have to replace a load of wooden windows but we got a lovely Hungarian guy to strip then down, fill the holes and repaint them, they looked almost new by the end, although still single glazed, so much nicer than upvc... Cost about 1/4 - 1/3 the various quotes for replacing them.

Our windows were in a bad shape, paint peeling, los of soft bits and one was leaking.
