Look for Experienced live-in Aupair Plus

Postby Claphammum11 » Tue Sep 09, 2014 9:07 pm

We are a friendly professional family. Both parents work full-time. Our son is 6 and our daughter is 4 years 9 months old. They both attend schools from 8:30 to 3:30pm (10 mins easy walk through the park). We are looking for a happy live-in aupair plus with good English, demonstrated work experience with this age group and come with Checkable references. We had a great nanny for several years and she remains to be a dear family friend. Our current aupair is leaving to pursue a non-childcare role for a few months before heading back to New Zealand and we also had a great year working together. We are happy to pass on their details to the right candidate. The ideal candidate can start around early October with min 1 year commitment.

Typical hours 30-35 hrs/ week. During school term, it will be from about 7:15 to 8:45am in the mornings and then 2 to 7pm evenings. The job involves preparing children breakfast, get them ready for school, walk them to the school, afternoon pick-up, help with homework, cook healthy dinner, light housekeeping incl. tidy up children's rooms and kitchen, laundry, and ironing, and occasional running some errands. We have a separate weekly cleaner for the heavy housekeeping. We ask for 2 times babysitting max (typically used for weekday evenings and occasional weekends) per week. During school holidays, the hours are a bit different and you will be compensated for additional hours. Pay according to experience. Minimum 4 weeks paid holidays plus paid bank holidays.

We live in a lovely house btwn the Commons. The aupair will have her own floor with privacy: a bright doube bedroom, own bathroom, wifi, TV and DVD player. We even have Netflix installed with lots of movies to choose from.

Please send your CV with a photo of yourself AND checkable references if you are interested and meet our criteria. Sorry but please do not get in touch if your English is not good - as the right candidate needs to be able to supervise children's homework independently. Thank you.
