Woodentops nursery

Postby LostInSW12 » Wed Sep 03, 2014 11:24 am

Hello! I am thinking of registering my 18 month old with Woodentops nursery (Thornton Road) to start next year - I've been for a visit and think it looks lovely, but wondered if anyone here has any children who have attended, either currently or in the past. I'd love to know what you think...

We sent both our two to woodentops and thought it was wonderful. We still have lots of friends with children there as we ended up keeping our children at the White House (we were that impressed). It has a kindergarten which they can join at 2.5 yrs and they can stay at the day nursery while be benefiting from being in the preschool for several hours a day.

The staff are just fantastic - very calm, kind and nurturing and most been there since it opened in 2011? and it was the little things they did that impressed me! Ensuring each child brushed their teeth after lunch, organising fun days, evenings for parents to get to know each other, etc! The kids eat wonderful food each day and they totally stopped my little girl being so fussy! The same caterer cooks for the main school and it is a varied menu that changes regularly.

Please pm me if you have any further questions!

Hi there,
My little girl just started at Woodentops a couple of weeks ago and so far I have nothing but good things to say about it !
Agree with the previous poster, the staff seem lovely and I really like the atmosphere.
My little one is 21 months, and she has fitted in like a dream.
Big thumbs up from me.

Thank you so much for the replies - hugely reassuring to know, and looking forward to getting her started!
