Hi,
Can anyone recommend anywhere that would repair a lamp, preferably in Clapham/Balham? I think (!) it's the wiring that's the problem but I can't be sure!!

I have a similar problem, in needing to rewire a wall light that has blown. Does anybody know of a lamp/light repair shop in Clapham/Balham or nearby? Thank you.

One of my first ever posts on NVN earlier this year was just this question and someone kindly recommended the place on the corner opposite Simply M&S up at Clapham South.

It's one of those hardware/household shops full to the rafters with stuff and a very nice gentleman running it who repaired my vintage lamp in just a few hours for an extremely reasonable price. Not sure how my repair compared to what you need, of course, but worth a try.

Sorry I don't know the name of it but you'll know where I mean if you go there!
