Toddler classes in Balham/Clapham

Postby ForMyLittleMan » Wed Oct 01, 2014 10:49 am

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone can direct me to list of classes for little ones in the Balham/Clapham area? When I was on mat leave last year I looked up a list like that which I found on here but can't find anything similar again now....
I need some inspiration for things to do with my little one on my days off. Over the summer we have of course had a great time going to the park but as the A/W draws in think we might need some other activities to keep us both out of trouble. He is 20months. Any recommendations would be great!

Hi,

There's the what's on list on this site, and lists on clapham mums and tooting baby sites too. I run a music classes that would be suitable for a 20 month year old at the Bedford if you're interested (Tuesdays 3pm, Wednesdays 11pm) bumblebeebeats.co.uk.

Thanks,
Beckie

Thanks Beckie. I have looked at Bumblebeats and would love to do it but unfortunately the timing doesn't suit as I work Mon - Wed so little one goes to a childminder then.

Hello again! We did swimming classes with Lizzie at Waterlife in alderbrook school pool which were great, and there are loads of other music classes on in the area on those days- fruity tunes, tin pan Annie etc. Amanda's action club is good fun too. I hope you find something! ;-)

Little Kickers runs classes in the area for children aged 18 months- 2years, Tuesday to Saturday mornings. Speak to Jamie or Cath in the office on 02086751155 and they can point you in the right direction.

Hi there
The activities tab here is a great place to start - or check the What's On calendar.
Sounds like your son is already pretty active, but if you were interested in gymnastics classes, we run age-appropriate, fun classes at The Little Gym in Wandsworth, 5 mins walk from the high street. We have a large, purpose built gym and our fully qualified instructors teach weekly classes. Your son would be one of our Beasts (19 to 30 months) and we have 9 classes for this age group each week, including Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Please do have a look at our website www.thelittlegym.co.uk/wandsworthfulham or give us a call on 0208 874 6567 if you would like to learn more. We offer a free trial so you can see if your son is going to like it.
Good luck finding something for him.
All the best
