Recommendations for GP close to SW4 9dx Clapham Common South

I just moved here from the states and have called many GPs with decent reviews within walking distance of my flat and they all say I am not in their area. I am looking for something convenient as I am pregnant and have an 18 month old. Any recommendations? I did check the NHS choices website and it seems that the nearest ones won't take me.

Have you tried Thurleigh Rd?
Cavendish Rd?
Or Clapham Park Group?

I am in the same area as you. We were with Clapham Family practice who I definitely wouldn't recommend (although their midwifery bit is amazing). We have been with Clapham manor street for about 6 months and have been impressed with them so far.

We are registered with Clapham Park Group Practice, and I am very happy about it. I have always felt that they were taking as much time as they needed for a visit, at the cost of delaying the appointments: I'd rather be seen later but in the knowledge that I, and the patients before me, have received as much attention as needed!
They offer last-minute "emergency" appointments on the day, and they make extra effort to accommodate a child (e.g., a child becoming unwell later in the day, when the "official" emergency slots had filled up already). They are also very efficient in calling you back if you ring to talk to a doctor.

We r with Clapham group practice too, had both my kids through nhs with them being my gp and all was great. Assuming u are having ur bub with nhs then would ask them if u can get midwife appointments with rathmell centre as it is at the back of the clinc, very handy; they are affiliated with st Thomas hospital which also found great. I have never had a problem getting an appointment for the kids they even have a paediatric dermatologist weekly in clinic which is a nice to have.
