Hello!
I am new to the neighbourhood and have a 7 month old son. We have just moved from New York and are looking to see if there are other Mums in the area who are around during the day for a walk around the park or a coffee? I haven't returned to the workforce yet and so would love to meet others who might also be home with their little ones.

Welcome to the area and hope you'll be really happy.
It can be so hard when you're new but hopefully some lovely people will come on here soon and make a plan to meet up.

Depending on where you are based there is a lovely group called Teddy Bear's which meets on a Tuesday in St Anne's Church Hall on a tuesday. They have a Facebook group but do message if you'd like more details and I'll put you in touch with the organiser.

Hi MumandMom ... take a look at the NCT website (National Childbirth Trust), you can search for activities in your area by entering in your post code. I am sure you will find something of interest that will be good for you and your baby. The trick is just to keep trying different ones until you find what suits you both best.

I just moved from New York as well and have a 19 month old and am expecting number 2 in March. I would love to catch up over a coffee or walk anytime. I work from home and my son is starting nursery tomorrow.
