Nursery recommendations

Postby Watermelon » Mon Nov 10, 2014 9:03 am

My daughter will be 2 next July and I am keen to get her into a nursery from September 2015 - mornings/term time only. The main reason is for her to be social and learn to interact and have fun with other children.

Am I far too late to do this? Any recommendations you have would be great!

Also fees seem quite high at some places so cheaper options would also be welcome!

We are near Thurleigh Road/Wandsworth Common

Thanks

'Second Steps' on Ravenslea Road is very, very good. Both of my two went there. The owner has years of experience with kids (including many formal qualifications) as do the staff. They really do understand little ones. Very loving caring environment. Lots of trips out - including weekly swimming. They have always bent over backwards to help us too - if our childcare went wrong (staff ratios and safety allowing - they checked first). I couldn't recommend it more strongly.
