Shapewear advice needed

Postby Stigi » Thu Jan 13, 2011 7:23 am

Hello

I'm pregnant with number 3 and have been invited to a wedding 2 weeks after my due date. I plan to go to the wedding if the baby is on time or hopefully early! but I am wondering what tricks I can use so that it doesn't look like I've just given birth - I'm not expecting miracles btw but anything that can help a little :)

I started to look at shapewear eg spanx, trinny and susannah etc and i was wondering if anyone could recommend a good brand and product that sucks you in and works! Any advice or ideas would be appreciated

Thanks

xx

I would recommend Spanx, I feel very 'held' in when I wear mine!
I also recommend http://www.themagicknickershop.co.uk/si ... age/867624 as they've got a huge selection and 20% off.

Hi Stigi,
Together with good underwear I would recommend Empire line dresses some good ones are from Fenn wright manson, since I gave birth to my twins that is the only clothes shop where I find something decent and quite affordable.
Good Luck
A.

I would recommend Marks and Spencer Autograph Firm Control Diamond Mesh Waist Cincher Knickers. They are pretty unbeatable and I have found them far more effective than Spanx. They take a while to get into but once they're on, there's a big improvement so they're worth it !
