When is the best time to book holidays for the year?

Hi all,

I am thinking about going to New York and Barcelona this year. When would you say is the best time to travel to get a good deal andfantastivc weather in both Cities?

Any reccomendations on what we can do once we are there?

Where can I go toget the best deals?

Travel outside school holidays for starters. Avoid Labour Day weekend in NYC as hotel costs are high. Late August in both cities is hot and humid. Flight/hotel packages are usually cheaper booked together. But all this depends on what you want to do exactly and who you're travelling with.

That's a great help. Its just going to be me and my partner. I think we just want to explore, hang out on the beach, in the park, go shopping, make friends and have fun.

September would be a wonderful time for NY. Indian summer, Central Park looks beautiful and you won't have much competition from people with school age children !
