Just sent my 2 year old to The Willow and so far so good. Only half a term in but I am impressed by the combination of care and development and nurturing and energy. We looked at a couple that seemed either too serious and 'mini school' or just chaotic play. This seems a lovely balance.

She paints or does some craft each day. she bakes each week and they do playball on a Thursday. Really nice facilities and very helpful staff. So far, very happy,

My four year old son attends the Willow and he absolutely loves going. The staff are very kind and caring and the children do a wonderful array of activities across the week. Lots of arts and crafts, singing, cooking, playball and organised visits to the nursery from people with interesting careers who chat to the children about their jobs - such as vets, policemen and opera singers! They also have a lovely garden for the children to let off some steam in.

This is my son's second year at the Willow and both he and I will be very sad when his Willow experience ends and he goes to big school in September. Can't recommend the Willow enough.

They've had a recent OFSTED report which rated them as good and was very complementary in the written report.

Hi,

Our son is is at Pixies and is incredibly happy there.
He does all the usual activities including painting, zumba, music and cooking and has made lots of friends. The staff are great - warm, friendly and caring. The nursery opens out directly onto the common which is an amazing outdoor space.

I visited both The Willow & Pixies before deciding on Pixies. To me it just seemed to be that bit more relaxed (possibly less structured is a better description) which suits our family more.

Visit both and see what works best for you and your child.
