Hello,

We are 2 Old Alleynians (DC) who are in the process of setting up a business in the salad/herb trade. But to do so we need to raise some start up capital so looking for any work (and I mean anything) that the Nappy Valley community might need help with, whether its gardening, removals, packing, furniture erection or any other basic labouring - we're your guys! Business and Maths degrees so can help out with tutoring and both love our sport so could possibly lend a hand with training or coaching.

Two approachable, polite and hard working university grads looking to raise some funds for a venture.

Good evening everyone,

I thought I should just post some feedback on here in order to, hopefully, generate more business for these young men!

I saw Harry and Chris' add two days ago and contacted them as I had a giant trampoline to be assembled and my husband wasn't going to be able to do it (even IKEA is hard for him.. haha). I quite liked the idea of helping two young men set up their business, even if I could only offer a few hours worth of work. I was a bit apprehensive as I would have two strangers coming into my home, but contacted them anyway.

I would like to say that I was very pleasantly surprised with the prompt answer to my text, their punctuality and, most of all, their honest and exceptionally polite manner. The trampoline was second hand from a friend and I did not have instructions with me. These boys spent some time trying to find the manual with phone calls and via mr google (I should have done that before they arrived and felt really silly…). It was a challenge but they did it and we had some very happy 4-year olds jumping up and down as soon as they left!

So thank you very much Harry and Chris for a sterling job and I will certainly be recommending your services to all my friends!

'2 Dulwich Boys' perhaps just saved my marriage! In just over two hours they assembled two fairly intricate chests of drawers, very efficiently and with no fuss. Have been nagging my husband about assembling them for months... Highly recommend them for any odd jobs you might have. AND they insisted I rounded their time down rather than up, a nice surprise.

Hi Dulwich Boys. I recommend you join (or ask your mums to join) the facebook page SW18 Mums Network. I'm always seeing mums looking for a handyman for small jobs and I'm sure You might have a bit more look there as there are hundreds of active members and it shows up on people's news feeds. If I had any work for you, which I unfortunately don't at the moment.. I would be going on to that page to recommend you. Just a suggestion.

Harry and Chris did a fantastic job of taking down an old shed and clearing my garden today. They took 2 loads to the tip as well. (An obvious weekend job which my husband and I never managed to get to.)

They have a 'can-do' attitude, enthusiasm and energy. It was done with thought, care and questioning when I hadn't been clear on things. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and would definitely use them again.

I would like to add that Harry and Chris helped me out last week too. I gave them the not exactly exciting job of consolidating our many photos from various iPads and iPhones and they did a brilliant job. They were polite, helpful and very patient with my utter lack of technological ability. They did a great job and were a pleasure to deal with. Thanks Guys!

I couldn't agree more. Harry and Chris helped paint a shed for me, assemble my son's bed, move some bike hooks and dismantle an old desk that we didn't need anymore. They are great!! Very polite, on time and with a super "can do" attitude as other posters have said. Highly recommended and will definitely use them again.

Harry and Chris came and assembled a flat packed cotbed for us - and managed to do so without any of the usual fuss/arguments associated with that type of work in our house! I would definitely recommend them - they were very polite, friendly and super efficient. they even took the empty cardboard boxes to the tip for us!

I too would like to give a positive reference for Harry & Chris. They removed some stubborn roots from our front garden. Worked very hard and left the garden nice & tidy. Very pleasant lads!
