Depending on where you live, you are very likely to have access to some of the breastfeeding cafes organised by the hospital - St Thomas' has a very efficient network and I am sure the other SW hospitals do. Breastfeeding didn't work out with me in the end, but when I was still trying the lovely midwife who ran the Clapham Manor BF cafe even came to our home the following day and spent two hours with us as she felt she hadn't had enough time during the session.
I also found our health visitors helpful, pragmatic and non-judgmental.
