Looking for a PTSD specialist

Postby ilovecupcakes » Mon Mar 23, 2015 11:32 am

Does anyone know of a PTSD psychologist who comes highly recommended? In the area is preferable, but willing to travel to speak to someone good. For an adult. Thanks in advance.

Peter Scragg at the Trauma Clinic (Devonshire St) is extremely experienced, sympathetic and highly regarded/senior within the profession. Good luck.

Hello,

Have you been to your GP to seek advice? St George's has an excellent national trauma treatment service you can access via your GP. Or you can self-refer to the adult IAPT service by calling 020 3513 6264. These services will give you access to evidence based treatments including Trauma focused CBT and EMDR.

Best regards.
