Hi all! My son will be starting at Swaffield school this year and just wondered if anyone had children in reception there or had any experience of the school at all?

My daughter is in Reception & loving it. I was worried how she would settle as she's one of the youngest in the school (30th August birthday!), but she settled in easily despite the big class sizes. Staff are friendly & Mrs Lilley the Head, is often in the playground in the mornings saying Hello to everyone. So far it's been a positive & enjoyable experience. Not sure if that answers your questions, but hopefully this is helpful.

My son started in reception last September and absolutely loves it. His teachers are just lovey and it is a really nurturing and supportive place. We are amazed at how his reading has come on in just 2 terms. The head teacher mrs Lilley is out and about in the playground most mornings and the kids just love her. We are absolutely thrilled with the school. Please message me if you have any specific questions and come along to the schools summer fair on 6th June - a nice opportunity to spend some time in the school and explore. X

Can't recommend the school highly enough. In year two now. Great teachers. Great support staff. Friendly school. Nice community. No complaints whatsoever.
