Childcare in SW12

Postby AmiClaire Homecrafts » Mon Jul 20, 2009 9:06 pm

My son is now 7 months old and im planning on going back to work part time in September. Im currently looking into various childcare options but wondered if anyone had any first hand experience of any of the nurseries (2nd Steps?) in the Balham area.
Would really appreciate any feedback.
Thanks

Thanks for that... Has anyone used Flavia on Ravenslea road (opposite second steps nursery), i went to see her yesterday and was very impressed, very calm atmosphere and the children seemed to adore her. Would love to hear from others..

Hi

my son went to a fantastic nursery called Blundells Day Nursery - it is in Battersea but tis only a postcode away and I would rather have travelled an extra 5 miles and know that he is in the best possible place rather than just somewhere near by. My advise? phone and book viewings in every nursery that you can get to and then visit and ask lots of questions THEN decide which one is for you. I knew immediately on going to visit my son's nursery that I wanted him to go there and they didnt let me down...it felt like a home from home.
