I am keen on hearing your experience here: can anyone tell me about your schooling experience in Scotland? I got a job offer in Edinburgh, it is quite attractive money wise taking into account how expensive living in London is (housing, school fees, childcare, etc) these days. But my children (aged 8,6,3) are very happy and settled very well at their respective schools and nursery here in Clapham and I hate to take them away just because of me...How will you compare the school quality btwn the English and Scotish systems, including both private and state schools? Any good schools you can recommend in Edinburgh? Is it easy to switch between the English and Scotish system if things don't work out? With 3 kids, there will be a lot of planning around. I am quite lost at the moment and frankly will also feel gutted for leaving our friends behind after living here for a long time. Much appreciate your observation and experience...
