Recommendations please - best kids club/ resort in Mauritiu

Postby BB007 » Wed May 20, 2015 9:25 pm

Hi, we are looking to book a family holiday to Mauritius later in the year. We will have 3 children (all preschool - 3 and under). We are after the best resort and that also really means kids club! on the island ? We have stayed at Le Saint Geran and had a great holiday, great kids club but rooms weren't great - just wondering if there is any recommendations ??!
Many thanks in advance

We stayed at the residence last Christmas with 3 kids under 5. We had a nanny for 2 hours a day for our youngest (he was 2) as he couldn't go into the kids club. The kids club was fine. A good space and a lovely outdoor space but like all these kids clubs the staff are quite disengaged. My 4 yr old daughter loved it for an hour or so. We loves the hotel though. So much to do-free water sports, amazing pools and we've rebooked so would def recommend x

Hi, Try Lux Belle Mare. Fantastic resort!! We went last September with our six month old. Didn't use the kids club as a service as little person too small but popped in to use facilities which were good. A selection of different rooms for different age groups and a cute little outside area plus tots tennis and a games room etc. The staff were lovely and the hotel offers an AI package that includes a nanny service in the evening. We would definitely go back. The rooms were great and The villas were brilliant and worked well for us as a family as we had our own private pool. We had 5 nights in each. The restaurants were all brilliant too but worth noting the Michelin restsurant doesn't except little people. Might be worth investigating. X

Hi there

We are heading to Trou Aux Biches at the end of June with our 2 and 4 year old boys. The rooms were part of the appeal having 2 separate bedrooms so we don't have to share with the boys. They also have apartment style larger rooms where you can have a BBQ and your own pool obviously much more expensive.
Kids club open 8am-11pm(!) and it looks great.
We've booked on a recommendation of someone who works out there.

Might be worth checking out.

Good luck!

Hi,

Our absolute favourite is Heritage Le Telfair - they are the only hotel on the island who offer free childcare from 0 yrs and the facilities are fantastic. They also have an offer where the second room is free depending on your travel dates.

Let us know if you need any further information.

Best wishes,

Lizzie
