This is a very good idea. However will it be worth waiting until September to do this as most au pair will soon be leaving their families (june/July) and new ones will be joining shorlty (August/Sept)?

I think it'd be great to try and organise the first one ASAP for those au pairs already here and then make it a regular thing. Not all au pairs change in the summer. Ours has just started and is staying on until at least next year.

Yes I agree with Mrs October, our Australian girl is here till mid-August and doesn't have any friends yet, she's a lovely girl, just needs to have someone to spend her spare time with. We then have a new one joining us after she leaves to return to college in Oz, so I'm always on the look out for au pair meet ups!
