Postby Baggers » Wed Feb 23, 2011 11:01 am

Hello-

I wondered if anyone could recommend pregnancy yoga classes, preferably in SW18 area.

Many thanks.

I did pregnancy yoga all throughout my pregnancy with Lulu and she is amazing!! The Tuesday session is the best because you will have tea / coffee and snacks after the yoga and she also usually has a speaker after the session who is either a health professional (related to babies and pregnancy) or a mother describing her own birth experience. I found this very helpful.

Good luck

I went to Anoushka's Yoga - www.anoushkasyoga.com - in Wynflete St Earlsfield. The Teacher Lon is fab. It was the one thing that kept me sane throughout my pregnancy and I really looked forward to each class. Lon also runs a mum and baby class so a few months later you'll get to meet up with girls (and the babies) you did the ante natal class with.

I haven't done it so can't recommend but there used to be pregnancy yoga at St Faiths church hall on Ebner Street, just off Old York Road, so if you live near there, you could check it out (there's a poster on the hall door)

Hi I used Battersea Yoga based at Chatham Hall - i Honestly can't recommend it enough. I used it for both pregnancies. Nadia (who runs it) is the most lovely lovely teacher - so calm and offers amazing techniques for getting through the birth. it's also a lovely place to meet other expectant mums.
