.... Rosalena Oils are amazing! For me there is nothing more 'treaty' for my skin than a lovely oil to nourish it. Anything to look a bit better...
Have tried quite a few oils in this quest and have now fallen for Rock & Rose which is perfect for my skin.
Can only recommend to others and with Rosalenas beautiful packaging it certainly makes the best present.

Just wanted to jump in here about FaceFit as I think you (Mummyjean) are after info about the treatments and more what goes on. I've had 3 FaceFit treatments with Elaine and believe me, If I could, I'd have them daily as they are pretty miraculous. She has a brilliant way of working with what your skin needs at the time which for me is generally jaw tension, hideous frown lines and sagging jowls. There is absolutely no pain involved as she knows exactly how to massage all the little muscles in the face to get the circulation going. She treats the neck as well so the overall result and feeling is positively sublime. There's never ever a hard sell with the oils, she uses one from the Rosalena range that suits your skin at the end of the treatment and you get to take a sample away without any pressure to purchase. All the oils are fab, agree with the others on that one. This is the best description I've found

http://hipandhealthy.com/facial-phenome ... y-is-best/

In a nutshell, does what it says on the tin, only 10 times better!!

Hope this helps

I had my first face fit treatment today at reCentre with Elaine. And It was amazing, Elaine was so kind and lovely and put me imideately at ease.
It was so relaxing and all the tension in my face disappeared. I grind my teeth at night and sometimes get tension in my jaw she picked up on this and eased the tension. I looked in the mirror afterwards and my face look lifted, as if I had Botox. It was definitely worth the money as I spend so much on exspensive face creams and facial in regular beauty salons but this has much better results. I'm definitely going to continue my treatments with Elaine and simply use the roselena oils, and I'm confident I will see the results.
Highly recommend. everyone must try! X

I had a LaStone facial (using warm and cold stones in addition to massaging action) with Elaine Tomkins and she was amazing. It was truly relaxing and my face felt amazing. I loved the oil that she had customised for me; i'm still using it every night and the little bottle will last a while. The inner corner of my eye swelled up after the facial, probably because of the detoxification (don't know just guessing) or maybe it's unrelated. It went away after a couple of days but I let Elaine know just in case it was something that happens to her clients and she followed up with me until I was ok.

Thanks to all that replied earler in the year, really helpful. I wanted to be fair and give an unbiased opinion about this treatment. I think it's fair to say that after 4 treatments, this is rocket fuel for the face and soul!! Elaine is simply extraordinary, way above your average therapist in terms of knowledge and personality, which I feel makes the whole treatment an amazing experience and I've had 4 so far. My skin really does feel glorious, soft and noticably smoother (even my hubby noticed :o ) as you get a lovely sample of the Rosalena oil she uses to take home with no hard sell or pressure to buy. I'm absolutely hooked on FaceFit now and it's so refreshing to have a 'proper' facial without tons of products that simply don't work after a bit. It isn't cheap but the results and feel good factor are super duper....

Natural Facelift Massage (aka Facial Rejuvenation) is a very pleasant treatment and not at all uncomfortable - I've been practising this for the past 15 years and have many satisfied customers! You can read about it on http://www.head2toemassage.co.uk/treatm ... uvenation/

Had to return to this conversation as I had a FaceFit with Rosalena's Elaine last week and it was amazing! Seriously, amazing. SO, not only was it the most beautiful way to spend an hour ( cocooned away in the warmth and gorgeously scented room with Elaine) but my face looked totally rejuvenated afterwards- to the extent that friends noticed and commented ( I was asked if I was pregnant due to the glow!!) Which I am not btw! Anyway, the lifting affect was quite remarkable, and interestingly the Rosalena Oils which I am a fan of and use religiously anyway, also seemed to take on a new life of their own and sunk in even better and seemed to somehow work more efficiently. On a serious note, I am a bit of a jaw grinder and the release of tension post my FaceFit treatment was not only visible but I honestly felt the benefit across my whole jaw and face, it feels lighter and less painful. I have re-booked for a months time and FaceFit treatments & Rosalena oils are top of my Christmas list.

Had to resurrect this chat as I went to a Rosalena function at Tabitha Webb clothes shop this week and had a free mini FaceFit. I had forgotten just how amazing it was. My skin still looks noticeably smoother to the point where I have actually had 4 people comment on my skin/complexion ( admittedly I got asked if 1. I was pregnant and 2. if I'd had Botox!!) Happy to report neither and wanting to share as not only is this facial massages divinely relaxing, tension I didn't even realise I was carrying melted away, but the results are incredible: fine lines literally ironed out on my forehead, eyes lifted, complexion left glowing. Almost don't want to share as FaceFit is getting better known now and appointments harder to get, but honestly if you haven't had one go try and see the results for yourself. Anyone had one and agree?

Re: Disliked FaceGym - FaceFit Facial

I've just found this feed when I searched for FaceFit, so I thought I'd add my thoughts. I was a bit hesitant only because I'm used to having typical facials on the "high street" that include the cleanse, mask, steam and face massage followed by moisturiser. And that's why I don't often go - they're not a treat - intact they feel like a chore. I was lucky enough to be given a gift voucher with a FaceFit treatment for 60 minutes and my experience of a facial could not have been more different. It's the complete opposite of a typical facial and my "brief" was to energise my skin. I drifted off to sleep..well almost. But I did receive the most fabulous facial work out which seems a bit of contradiction considering that I was so relaxed that I felt like I may have fallen asleep - but the warm and cold stones, facial massage combined with what I later found out was Rosalena Skincare face oils (plus I received a little take-home vial which I've eagerly used since), along with the more traditional cleansing and toning (but again done using a very wonderful massage technique), my skin is glowing & I felt energised. My skin looked tired, dehydrated and rather pale thanks to a combination of factors before having my FaceFit treatment. Who would have thought my skin could have gained a new "lease of life" in 1 hour and 15 minutes! I've booked my next "treatment" and I can't wait. Elaine, thank you so much. I have been told you can also book via www.rosalena.co.uk website too.

FaceFit Facial in Balham

Postby SarahMe » Fri Nov 25, 2016 3:05 pm

I love love Rosalena's FaceFit. I've had a few and it's Balham's best kept secret. Elaine Tomkins is an expert in making my skin look & feel fabulous in the most beautiful ways possible. Her unique massage techniques along with her facial oils are truly skin food. Islajean - go back for more! My skin looks and feels even better after each FaceFit. Plus I am now permanently using Rosalena Skincare products which has been my next best investment. So happy you experienced Elaine's magic hands too.

I experienced Rosalena FaceFit for the first time recently and highly recommend it. I hadn’t experienced anything like it before and I really loved the different textural applications and massage techniques that Elaine Tomkins applied. It really is a proper workout, and goes much further than the surface of the skin which is something that really appeals to my more purist health instincts. Aside from really rejuvenating my skin, the FaceFit really helped destress my mind. It just really chilled me out which was a huge bonus and badly needed at the time!

5 years on and I still LOVE this treatment. Especially nurturing through my menopause which drove my body and mind (and beloved other half!) to despair! Skin looking great now but sadly had to ditch my nighly tipple - ah well, a girl can't have it all....or maybe she can?!
