We are looking for an au pair to join our family starting this summer. We have 2 young children aged 4 and almost 2 as well as two small dogs. I'm ideally looking for an au pair who's already in London and can be recommended by their current family. We are flexible on start date but would like to have our au pair here and settled prior to the start of September school term but if sooner then perhaps she can come on holiday with us too!
Our children are lovely, bright, affectionate, fun and not that difficult to look after. They are happy to go on trips to the playground, park, paddling pool, swimming, museums, playgroups etc. They have a few activities in place already and will be in nursery/primary school in the Autumn.
The hours would be approximately 7:30-9:00 then 16:00-19:30 with 1-2 nights babysitting (one at the weekend) per week. Duties include helping get the girls out of the door by 9:00 in the morning (helping get them dressed, fed, teeth and hair brushed, shoes, coats, etc), tidying up after breakfast, emptying/loading the dishwasher, helping with the washing, preparing lunch, looking after our younger daughter the afternoon school run, helping with tea, bathtime and bedtime, changing the children's beds and occasional children's ironing. She may also probably be responsible for the school run of one child in the morning (2-5 minute walk) and some dog walking.
I am a full-time mum so I'm looking for a very helpful, willing extra pair of hands. She should have lots of energy, being outgoing and have a genuine interest in and love of children. She needs to be able to cook (at least the children's meals) and a reasonable level of English is essential.
She would have her own room and a bathroom that is shared (though just for the children's baths and when we have guests.)
