Interesting that 13 of the 60 places offered have not been taken up. Does anyone have an idea how much of this is (i) a ripple effect of some people allocated Rutherford getting a higher preference, (ii) how much is people going private and giving up an "insurance option" at Rutherford, and (iii) how much is just churn (people moving out of London, moving within London, etc.)? I suspect a combination of (ii) and (iii). I wonder how this compares with other schools.VarkB wrote:We also live between Bec and Broadway, near the church, and my son has just got in having started at no. 13 on the waiting list.
I do know that with the Sept 2014 reception intake, multiple spaces freed up during the year, so falconmum even if you don't get in from the waiting list by Sept 2016 you may get offered a place during the year. If you want one make sure that you stay on the waiting list - I think you need to renew your position after a period of time or you are taken off it.
