Interior Designer recommendation

Postby mummyof1 » Mon Feb 28, 2011 9:52 am

Would be grateful for Interior Designer Recommendations - looking for someone to try and make my narrow long living room appear wider and more put together. However i dont have an unlimited budget.

Thanks

Hey,

I run a small interior design company based in Tooting called Emma Victoria ID. I have worked with a few people from this site with success. I can offer ad hoc design advice for £45.00 per hour, or I offer a service called Cheap and Chic where I can put together furniture suggestions, a decorative scheme suggestion - including a sample board and list of where to buy for £300.00. This service also includes a one hour consultation. I'd be happy to pop over and get you started.

Here's feed back from the nappyvalleynet competition winner who won the Cheap and Chic service in November 2010:

"Hi Emma

Thank you. We have the sample board sitting on the mantelpiece and sit here looking at it in the evenings! We really like it and will be getting started when we get back from our Xmas hols.

We love how the wallpaper changes from day to evening and the colours are lovely. I have been carrying the fabric swatches around with me when shopping - you never know when you might spot a cushion!

We are going to start with the painting, wallpaper and carpet then the furniture and accessories. Craig and I like the deco elements of the design too."

More details on services are here: http://emmavictoria-id.com/services/

Thanks,

Emma

Hi - Try Lucy Swallow Interiors. Lucy is wonderful and will work within your budget. She did a brilliant job of my ground floor and I would heartily recommend her.

I'd recommend Sean Cochrane (www.cochranedesign.com), his work looks stunning and he's local too!
Found him as he's got an article in this months Homes and Gardens...
