Where is the best place to go for colour and highlights? A friend recommended tayllr taylor but they seem far away. Im moving from south africa soon and wondering where the best place is?

I used to go to Jo Partridge on Bellevue road and they were pretty good.

Jasmin at Rossano Ferretti is brilliant, and using a combination of balayage and highlights to get a very natural but beautiful colour. The salon is just behind the Ritz at 21 Arlington Street, tel. 0207 493 0555. She's been trained by Carl Dawson who was Nicky Clark's signature colourist with a stellar client base, but because she's newly qualified she's a lot cheaper.

I can second Francesca Alexander. I've had low lights, grey coverage and ombre colouring. Not all at once! Been using them for years. Great salon and team.

Thanks ladies. Any stylist you recommend? Bit nerve racking as i jave been going to same hairdresser for over 6 years. If i bri g my colour card etc will they be able to match?

I would recommend Becky at Rossano Feretti who cuts both my son's and my hair, always carefully and suiting our very difficult hair. Both Becky and Jasmin have been trained by the very top hairdressers and their work is lovely - you'd be delighted.
