Looking for a nanny in Clapham (from November)

Postby paoloandmary » Fri Aug 14, 2015 11:38 am

We are an Italian family looking for a new nanny, as our current nanny will move to Italy, to help with our 17-month daughter.
We'd prefer somebody who is not looking for a temporary job (at least 1 year) and willing to become a member of our family.
Working time will be 30-35 hours per week (approx from 1pm to 7pm but we are available to add a morning).
Starting date in November (but we could be flexible).

We are looking for an experienced nanny in a sole charge, live out position, working five days a week near Clapham Junction who understands all the key stages of toddler development.

Our perfect nanny would:
- Have experience with babies and clear knowledge of weaning and potty training
- Be a NON smoker
- Be able to prepare home cooked meals, using fresh ingredients and have a knowledge of nutrition
- We would prefer an English mother tongue or a Spanish mother tongue but with fluent English. We would welcome an Italian nanny but with an English level good enough to understand our daughter
- Be CRB checked and ideally hold a level 2 or 3 childcare qualification, being OFSTED registered and having a recent First Aid qualification are welcome

The job would include standard children care duties but also entail a bit of light housework (esp. ironing and vacuuming).

Please get in touch to arrange an interview as soon as possible.

Many thanks!

Dear Paolo and Mary
are you still looking for a nanny?
I am a qualified Nursery Nurse/Maternity Nurse and I have been working as a nanny for a good number of years.
I am punctual, reliable, hardworking, trustworthy, well presented, flexible and good mannered. I am an enthusiastic, dynamic person who will stimulate and encourage your girl to develop her self.
I have lots of energy and a friendly outgoing personality. I am an easy going -happy person,I enjoy trips to the park, arranging play-dates,going to play-groups,support kids hobbies.....
I love music, dance and handcrafts, which I enjoy sharing with children as I believe, that arts can stimulate them at any age.
I do have experience working with younger infants and toddlers from a variety of different back grounds and cultures and I feel confident working with them as well as older children.
I have a zeal for creativity and a passion to bring out the best in every child. Outside work I enjoy taking photographs, walking, arts, weaving, cooking, travelling and socializing with friends and family.
I am Italian, I do not smoke and I can provide References and photo upon request.
I would be grateful if you could consider my application and hope we have the opportunity to meet and discuss it in more detail in due course.
Yours sincerely,
Elisa
