Bike for a 3 year old

Postby Louisejersey » Tue Sep 08, 2015 12:04 pm

Hi all,

My son will be 3 next month and I would like to buy him a bike for his birthday. There are so many to choose from but I wondered if anyone could recommend a really good one please?

Many thanks!

We got our 3 year old son an Isla bike. it's a bit pricey but it's very light weight and much easier for a little one to control and manage on their own....and our second son will use when the older one outgrows it, so the price is a bit more manageable when considered that way :)

A Halford's Apollo bike (with stabilisers) was fine for my daughter, and we took the stabilisers off just after she turned four. A lot cheaper :)
