Kitchen recommendations

Postby Mummy » Tue Sep 22, 2015 12:14 pm

Hello lovely NVN'ers,

We would love to completely upgrade our kitchen, complete new units layout etc..

We don't have the biggest space but would want advise making the most of what we have.

Any recommendations of who to use/avoid greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

We have just gone through the same process and having gone down the usual Howdens/Benchmarx/Magnet route for quotes and plans and then wasted lots of time dreaming about bespoke ended up ordering via Homebase of all things on the recommendation of a neighbour. Ask for Charlotte in their Battersea branch.
Their German made Odina range costs little more than the above and dramatically less than other German brands (German kitchens are better made apparently). Only snag is they build to order and ours won't arrive until mid October.
Clapham Builders who are extending our kitchen currently will fit it as their installation quotation was a fraction of Homebase's.
Hope this helps.

Hi Mummy,

We used Bart, Pristine Finish, 07872 338 775: http://www.pristinefinish.co.uk

Really friendly, great service, still happy with his work.

Good luck x

West London Kitchens are truly fab - and you should talk to them to understand their offering. Instead of showing you brochure after brochure (it's at this stage thatI go into information overload) they will take you to see some of their finished kitchens, with real live and appreciative kitchen owners so that you can see and experience for yourself the finished product. You can even ask questions.

You will get a bespoke kitchen at a highly competitive price - your kitchen will use all the space rather than putting in a stock unit and then having to blank off the spare bits.
