Man Without a Van?

Postby alongwayfromhome » Tue Oct 13, 2015 3:55 pm

Afternoon all

We are having some new furniture delivered this weekend and need some help shifting several beds up and down several flights of stairs. I am currently heavily pregnant so can't do any of the lifting and it is a two man job.

Any ideas where I can find some lifting help? I don't need the van, just the "man" part of the "man and the van"!

Many thanks
xx

You could probably find someone on the TaskRabbit website that would be able to help for not too much money. I got them to help move furniture for me when I was expecting.

Thank you!

Have just given that a go but seems that there isn't anyone averrable in the area (ever it seems!).

Any other ideas gratefully received! Would suit any male au pairs, students etc I imagine?

Thank you!

There were 2 ex dulwich boys who posted on this site a while back doing odd jobs. Maybe try them:
