Lovely local playgroup - St Luke's Church, Ramsden Road Post Reply

Just a post to highly recommend the most wonderful local playgroup. St Luke's Church runs a really friendly volunteer run playgroup from 2-4pm on Thursday afternoons (term time) in the church hall at st Luke's Church on Ramsden Road.

The playgroup really is something of a local gem - it is super welcoming, friendly and very community based. It was an absolute lifesaver when I moved to London with a 10 month old not knowing a soul in the area four years ago. 4 years, 2 kids and a bump later and it is firmly still the favourite part of my week! Both my children and I have met a lot of good friends through the playgroup and It is always wonderful to be met with a cuppa and friendly face on a Thursday afternoon!

The playgroup has a huge number of fab toys in really good condition and the HUGE bonus is the enormous church garden that the kids have the run of... AMaZING for London kids!

An afternoon playgroup is also something of a rare find! Don't worry if you can only pop in for half of it before the school run - you definitely won't be alone!

Totally agree. One of the best playgroups around. Super friendly, it's only £1 and you get a cup of tea, a biscuit! I've made lots of good friends there and so have my children. My very active boy especially loved the garden.

Just a reminder that the playgroup at St Luke's Church, Ramsden Road, starts up again this Thursday 2-4pm for the Spring Term.
