Donation to Syria drop off SW11 - IS THERE ONE?

Postby Discodolly » Fri Oct 02, 2015 11:35 am

Hello all

I would like to send clothing & household donations to the Calais/Syria cause .

However , the only drop off points seem to be East or North London.

Does anyone know of somewhere in our area? There must be somewhere. I just can't seem find it?

Any suggestions welcome :D

Jojo maman Bebe are doing a kids winter shoes drop off in store until next weekend for Syria. See website on what to do. Must be individually wrapped in clear bags with shoe size noted.

Pearl chemists on mitcham road are storing donations for tooting refugee support. If you give them a call before you get there they'll help you unload.

One of my clients wants to donate her excess stuff to Syrian refugees too. I just found this from the British Red Cross:

http://www.redcross.org.uk/Donate-Now/D ... gee-Crisis

There are BRC shops in Wandsworth (SW11 2NT), Wimbledon, Mitcham etc accepting donations specificallyfor #ShopDrop for Refugee Crisis

Note that all items will be used or sold for cash in the UK but read the details as it is a brilliant service.

Hope this helps!

Just an update on the charity appeal for refugees that the Guardian and Observer are running now:
