We are a lovely family in Balham looking for a hardworking, reliable, dedicated and fun sole-charge live-out nanny-housekeeper to look after our two daughters (4yr and 2yr) and our house.
You will need to be responsible, hardworking and organised and will have full-time responsibility for the girls and for running the house.
Nanny duties
You will be expected to get involved in the girls schooling and social world and organise and attend playdates and playgroups. You must be kind and loving and be excited to nurture and develop the girls. After school, you will be expected to help my older girl with basic homework (reading and maths) so excellent English will be required. You will also be expected to bath them regularly.
Housekeeping duties
Both girls will be at school (4 year old between 9 and 3.30, two year old between 8.45 and 12.15). During the hours of 9 - 12 you will be expected to undertake the housework including laundry, ironing, hovering, cleaning, children's cooking. I am looking for someone who can use their initiative to ensure the house is managed effectively.
Requirements
• Previous experience with toddlers and young children
• DBS checked
• At least 2 good quality checkable references
• OFSTED registered (ideal but not essential)
• Fluent English
• Up to date First Aid (or willingness to do so before starting)
• Legally permitted to work in UK
• Non smoker
• Available from 28 January
Your salary will be at usual London rates.
