I have very recently found out my marriage is over. My husband has moved out, leaving me on my own with three very young children. I'm not from the UK, and my entire family is abroad. Suddenly, I seem to find myself surrounded by happy families, and would love to meet up with other single parents (mums or dads) for playdates, coffees, etc. Would be great to have some support from others who have been through or are experiencing the same, and I'd love my kids to know other functioning separated families.

If any other single parents out there would be keen to meet up, please do get in touch!

Hi there, I'm not single so can't help in response to your actual post. However I just wanted to offer a virtual hug as it were and say I hope you get some responses soon. It must feel like an impossible situation at the moment but I hope in time you will settle into this new chapter of your life and maybe even embrace the excitement of what could be round the corner.
