just to say to claim pip takes between 18 to 20 weeks that's if your are entitled to it.you have to be legless and armless to get it and then you might not even get then. its a complet nightmare they want to know your complet life storey the only people that get pip and other benefits are those low life drunks and people that fiddle the system good luck !! .

Are you both talking about the same thing? It sound as though the OP is asking whether anyone has any success in making a claim against a finance provider for mid-sold Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) but the response appears to be referring to claiming a government assistance payment called Personal Independence Payment (PIP)??

No experience of either, just wanted to let you know that it looks like you're talking at crossed purposes!

I claimed PPI on a credit card from 10 years ago using guidance from Moneysavingexpert:
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclai ... -insurance

It was super easy, a couple of forms that's all. All the banks now have special teams for PPI claims and have standard processes for repaying it. Took about 6 weeks.

Do not use a company to do it--they add absolutely no value, charge high fees and it is so easy to do it yourself.

Same here. I got two PPI refunds from Lloyds (one for a Loan and one for a Credit Card) .Moneysavingexpert is great!
