Hi,

as the title says I am interested in finding a Saturday drop in football session for my little boy who's just turned 4. I have heard of one on Wandsworth Common near the Common Ground but just wondered if there are any others?

There is a brilliant one just opposite Bellevue on Wandsworth Common, Saturday mornings at 10am. It is for kids from Reception so it depends if your child has started school but I can thoroughly recommend it. The coaches are fantastic and my son can't wait to get out the door on a Saturday morning! (Drop-in £6 per session). They also do a drop-in holiday multi-sports camp which is fantastic.

There is also one on the common opposite Bollingbroke Grove on a Saturday. I have friends who's kids go there and love it but have no details.

There's Broomwood FC which is on Wandsworth Common - Bolingbroke Road side (opposite Thurleigh Road) & really great. Lots of very enthusiastic dads running it & when my son played it was about £20 membership for the whole season! It's all organised in age groups & starts at 10.30am (or it used to) on Saturday mornings, finishes 12noon.
Just turn up - the only problem is there are only a few weeks to go until the end of their season (mid May). It usually starts again the first Saturday in September. It's fantastic!
