I usually take my son (who has fine, shaggy hair) to Jacinta O'Neill on Trinity Road. They cut it well, are reasonably priced and (the clinching factor) offer free hot chocolate and biscuits. What's not to like?

I used Bob salon on Bedford Hill in Balham for our two boys before we went on Easter hols and they did a great job! I forget the ladies name but she works on Thursdays and Sundays I think. I was asking for a short back and sides but she looked at their hair types and gave them very nice trendy cuts to suit their hair/face. Would recommend. Cost £15 each.

We just had a super cool haircut at Crew on Fulham Road for 10 yo boy. Showed the stylist a picture and he did exactly that. Short on the sides but not too short, so its perfect for school and summer, slightly longer on top so we can 'spike it' or keep it messy.
