STARTS WEDNESDAY 27TH APRIL
Our sessions have proved very popular over the last few years and we have seen great success in helping children improve their natural running ability, increasing their speed, developing a good running style, or just improving fitness and running in general.
The sessions will cover:
- Running technique
-Dynamic strength
-Teamwork and comprehending instructions
-Motor skills and coordination,
-Speed and agility
Fun and games!
This year we will be structuring the sessions slightly differently so that each group will get the best training for their age and ability.
In Clapham we will now have the following set up
Group 1 – Age 6 – 8
Time – 4.30pm – 5.00pm
Info – In this group we will focus on an introduction to efficient and correct running technique. We will introduce dynamic movement including hopping, balance and agility work, whilst developing team work skills and fair play.
Group 2 – Ages 9 – 12
Time – 5.00pm – 5.30pm
Info – In this group we will be working at developing strength with good running technique. Improving running endurance and stamina and increasing agility and speed as well as specific skills such as throwing, catching, balance.
Both sessions will be in the No Dog Zone by the bandstand (and café) in Clapham Common. We will begin promptly at the stated times.
The term will run for 10 weeks (not including half term) and will cost £50 (£5 / session)
