Lovely qualified and very experienced nanny avaliable

Postby Jemma L Saxton » Tue Apr 05, 2016 9:51 pm

Jemma has been very dependable and flexible to fit to our busy work schedules. She has never been late or unreliable. My husband and I are often away during the week for work, Jemma has sole charge responsibility of our child all day for often up to 4 days at any one time. This means that she takes care all of his needs from getting him up in the morning, preparing and giving him all his meals, organising activities for him, getting required supplies, doing his laundry etc."

From a previous employer in chiswick

Hello my name is Jemma Louise Saxton and I am looking for a long term, permanent live in nanny position in any area of London. I have live in nanny experience in London previously as well as a year in beautiful sunny Australia. I have just finished looking after a 3 year old and a 3 months old boy ~ prior to that I looked after 6 month old twins 24/5care.

Here is a little more information about me;

I have 6 years childcare experience ~ 3 as a live in nanny and 3 in a day care nursery.

I am mature reliable and trustworthy I am now working my second 24/5 job in my previous position my employers where both out of the country during the week leaving me in complete sole charge of their two year old.

I am happy with a very sunny disposition I am very easy to get along with as I am very honest and open. I love to laugh and fun with children.

I feel as well as having the essential love and bond between the children and their nanny it's also vitally important for a nanny and their employer to work together and always have an open line of communication as well as trust.

I hold NVQ level 2 in childcare and education as well as first aid and a clean DBS check

I have worked with many different children including multiples, a child with Aspergers syndrome, a family with four beautiful but very lively children as well as babies all way up to children aged 12 years old.

I am willing and confident in all aspects of childcare including potty training and weening through to planning and executing many different activities and excursions I also believe new experiences are essential for a child's development. I think that it's important for children to play outside and meet other children through clubs, classes and play dates as well as children being able to spend time at home enjoying many different activities to help aid their development.

During my 3 years experience in nursery setting ages with children from NB - 8 years I enjoyed planning activities and keeping detailed observations on the children's development and speaking to parents at the end of the day giving them a full feedback on what their child has done throughout the day this is something I bring to all my nanny roles

I also have a love of animals so any pets you may have are not a problem and i will also be happy to walk and feed your little furry friends

I am very easy going and confident i enjoy meeting new people and making new friends

I hold four excellent contactable written references

Most importantly i really enjoy spending time with children :) i feel as well as learning its vitally important that they have fun :)

I am avaliable now

Hope to hear from you soon :)

Salary Offered :

(negotiable for experienced candidates)

Children/Ages: 1 boy of 9 years (attending full time boarding school from September, home every other weekend), 1 boy of 4 years (attends local day school every day), 1 girl of 2 years (attending nursery 3 mornings a week from September)

Hours: Monday to Friday

Live in: 8am - 7pm (can be flexible)

Family would prefer a nanny who is happy to offer 1-2 nights of weekly babysitting and is a non-smoker.

Job Description:

A very organised reliable, honest and trustworthy career nanny with good experience required with the physical ability to care for young children. We need an open, active and energetic person who is prepared to “muck-in” to family life and this position with a flexible and positive attitude. We’d like a dedicated person who is very happy looking after children.

All children follow a routine so do require a nanny that is comfortable in following this. It is of vital importance that this nanny is very organised and can act as a children's PA and look after all aspects of the children's social and school diaries and keep the parents up to date, reminded and informed about all of the children's current and upcoming activities.

The family like the children to eat home cooked food, so you will need to be confident in cooking.

Both parents are working professionals so this is a sole charge position, so you must have experience of this. Husband works from home.

The family have 10 hours of housekeeping per week from their cleaner, however some light housekeeping and cleaning required to keep the house tidy.

All nursery duties & keeping on top of all rooms used by the children.

Major Responsibilities

• Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the children

• Supervise the children’s activities at all times

• Plan and prepare nutritious home cooked meals for the children, do food and toiletries shopping for the family and occasional cooking for the whole family.

• Washing and ironing children's clothes and bedding, dressing the children, sewing on name tapes

• Placing the youngest down for a mid-day sleep

• Bath the children

• Perform housework related to child care, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas, emptying dishwasher, changing children's sheets

• Teach the children good social manners and table manners

• Play with the children, both indoors and outdoors, and organise play dates

• Plan and lead educational activities, including reading, helping with homework

• Drive the children to and from activities and school

The family are happy for the nanny to arrange play dates & take the children out & about to local groups & classes.

The family do travel in the holidays to Scotland and Europe so would again appreciate a nanny who would assist them in this. There will be occasional weekend work for which you will be paid overtime.

The family travel in the summer holidays so you will be paid for 4 weeks holiday, however would prefer a nanny who is happy to take 2 weeks when they do & choose their other two weeks.

Other Benefits Include: Use of the family car, insurance depending. PLEASE SEND CV AND CONTACT ME AT catriona2@mac.com
