Looking for a temporary home

Postby RupertP » Thu May 05, 2016 4:23 pm

Wondering whether anyone can help. We are a family of 4 (plus dog) who have just been steamrollered into accepting an 11th hour early completion date on the sale of our property. We are now facing 5-7 weeks homeless and can't seem to find anywhere (still in SW London / Surey) for us to live (furnished) utntil we complete on the purchase of our new home. Can anyone help with either advice as to where to look or indeed properties which may be available (from 4th July onwards). Budget wise looking as cheap as possible as obviously this has not been factored into our sums.
Thanks in advance.....

You could try airbnb? Friends recently had to move out of their house for renovations for several weeks and found a nice place through airbnb... may be trickier with a dog though I guess.

hello;

i need to spend some time in the states this summer (a wedding, and a month caring for my parents after dad has knee surgery) and i was going to list my house on airbnb for july / august. the house is contemporary, large ensuite bedroom with two juliette balconies on the top floor, large double or twin on first floor, along with a laundry room and my studio (i am a commercial interior designer, graphic artist and food consultant) nd a small terrace. there is a very large open plan kitchen dining sitting room plus garden on the ground floor. it is a very quiet peaceful place just between st johns hill and northcote road, with wandsworth common about a two minute walk, and the station about a ten minute walk if you are as short as i am.

let me know if this is of interest -

tertia
