Wedding flowers recommendations please??!

Postby Mummyneedswine » Sun Apr 17, 2011 10:21 pm

I am the 'Bridesmaid in charge of flowers' for my friends wedding this summer (august) and i need to get chatting to some florists.
DO any of you have any good recommendations around here (balham / clapham / streatham)? i know there are lots of florists but if i can narrow it down at all i would be very grateful!
thanks!

I've not used them, but see the most fantastic-looking creations going onto their van, Jayne Copperwaite on Cavendish Road www.jaynecopperwaiteflowers.com

Sarah Vey is a local florist and did an amazing job with my wedding flowers two years ago. She listened to all my ideas, advised me on my wilder ideas that probably wouldn't work so well and delivered bouquets, table decorations, button holes, corsage and hair piece the day before with care instructions and especially packaged to travel (as we wanted to transport them out of London ourselves). I cannnot recommend her highly enough.

Her website is www.sarahveyflowers.co.uk. You can see my flowers in her gallery - red roses and gerberas - with the silver dress in the background.

Good luck!

I would like to recommend Levine, who posted above, from La Maison des Roses on Webbs Rd - you only have to look at her shop to know how lovely her style is and she is very helpful and nice.
