Wow - no idea.

I haven't heard that the whole chain has gone so maybe just that lease?

All their shops have closed / are closing and they are going back to being a mail order business. Think it's been difficult for a lot of retailers recently and they are a casualty of this unfortunately. I'm expecting a delivery from them this week so spoke to someone from their HQ a few days ago and they told me the news.

Made an order for Click and Collect on Friday and called them this morning as I was charged P and P. They advised me that they have closed all their stores. They closed about two weeks ago . Said they have sent emails to customers on their mailing list but I have not received any notifications. They have assured me that they will stay as a Mail Order company. Their stores were just not making enough money. Hope we do not lose them altogether. :(

Sorry to hear that they have closed completely. I never bought anything (not my taste) but I thought that their stuff was good quality.

Agree with the quality, we really rated it.

Can anyone recommend any other children's furniture shops that are good quality?

Thanks!

Be careful buying on their clearance sale...I tried to buy something today and when I logged on their site to pay...someone else's payment details came up (their name address and card details!!)serious data breach problem!! I did a quick search online and on their Facebook page it says others have had the same issue.

On a separate not am sad to see them close down.

Yes please be careful. I am waiting a refund for a trundle bed ordered in Feb which they cannot supply. They contacted me last week to ask for my card details again but as yet it has not come through (I have alerted my credit card company). They have a Facebook page and from the comments on there, it seems they have hardly anyone left working there trying to get through the orders. A lady has commented that they mailed her on Friday telling her to get her money back from her credit card company. Personally I wouldnt be buying from them at the moment as I don't think they should be selling off their stock whilst they are still sorting out hundreds of outstanding orders. Bit of a risk.

Too late!
I made an order for some bedding, and a friend of mine told me about this post just after the order was placed!
I have tried to call them and email them to cancel my order, but there is no way to get in touch with the company. Allarming!
Blame on me I was attracted by the huge discount, but it is appalling that they are still accepting orders if they cannot process them!
I called my credit card company which said that they cannot do anything at the moment, because the payment is still pending since Aspace didn't process it yet.
If aspace will not be able to deliver the order and the payment will appear on my bill, my credit card company will open a dispute for me. Not sure what does it mean.

Below the automatic reply I got from Aspace. How can they allow people to place orders and not provide any way to get in touch with them?

Dear Customer

Further to our announcement that Aspace has ceased to trade, we are now going through all outstanding orders.

Please bear with us as we have minimum resources to do so.

We will aim to deliver every order we can within the next 2 to 3 weeks, otherwise you will be refunded.

We will be in touch as soon as possible.

Please can we ask that you do not resend emails – we have a great many to respond to and they will be replied to in date order. We will get to you but it will take time.

Many thanks for your patience & understanding. It is very much appreciated.

Kind regards

Customer Service
