We are looking for a live-in or live-out nanny to look after our lovely and easy-going 10 months old daughter, starting on 1 August close to Clapham Common north side. The nanny will be expected to work 40-45 hours per week from Monday through Thursday (Monday 08:00-17:00; Tuesday-Thursday 08:30-19:00), with occasional evenings/overnight stays paid for as overtime.
The ideal candidate will be a caring, highly responsible, (pro)active and creative person, with a minimum of 3 years prior experience and first aid/other relevant certifications, who enjoys spending a lot of time outside. Being a bilingual family, we’d prefer for a native English speaking nanny.
Nanny duties will include:
- Promoting our daughter’s general health and development by providing her a safe, stimulating and loving environment
- Organizing/attending pre-agreed activities and playdates
- Preparing healthy and varied meals
- Ensuring her toys, room, clothes, and other equipment are clean, tidy and fit for use
- Light housework duties, to ensure that the common areas of the house are clean and tidy at the end of each working day (our cleaner comes every week)
- Clothes washing and ironing
Given that we are looking for someone who would ideally be able to start on 1 August, we’d prefer if the nanny could already spend some time with us in June/July to get to know each other and allow for a smooth transition into the role.
