Thank you. We ended up going with buggypitstop as i had a real urgent need for it at the weekend. We dropped it off in wembley & used their premium one hour service. It cost £100 all in (£40 of that was the hour service). I found the service to be good but I think my repair was pretty easy - caused by overloading with shopping & a toddler that pulls on the bar!! I agree to get all info/price upfront but to be fair to them they told us on the phone that the prognosis was good & likely a simple repair, so got my vote on honesty. Good to know there is an alternative too.
