Hi can anyone recommend a buggy repair person near Clapham? Is it still buggypitstop? Have people had good experiences? I think they seem to accept drop offs at Balham thanks

Buggy pitstop charged me three times (£170+) to fix the chassis of mine while apparently the going rate is £50-60. Additionally the drop off place in Balham could have done it cheaper but for some reason their staff sent it to buggy pit stop and I had to pay up so all rather bitter. Ask for a full quote before you go anywhere and if there is a drop off/ return carriage fee if you get a quote more than you'd like.
Someone on Balham mums or Streatham mums Facebook group fixes them, ask on there for her details?

Thank you. We ended up going with buggypitstop as i had a real urgent need for it at the weekend. We dropped it off in wembley & used their premium one hour service. It cost £100 all in (£40 of that was the hour service). I found the service to be good but I think my repair was pretty easy - caused by overloading with shopping & a toddler that pulls on the bar!! I agree to get all info/price upfront but to be fair to them they told us on the phone that the prognosis was good & likely a simple repair, so got my vote on honesty. Good to know there is an alternative too.
